Rhododendrons!!!

I want to plant these along the back of the pond!  And then underplant them with something that blooms thru the summer mos. Still working on my virtual gardens.  Larry wants to start the veggie gardens this year.  I'm not sure I agree.  We don't get up there often enough to watch over them (weed, feed, water).

  1. No luck with Rhodo... (can never spell this!) here. Too cold I think. Or I just had no idea what I was doing. :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and leaving a funny comment, Sheila. Great to meet you! :)

  2. They grow EVERYWHERE in Tn. They have rhododendron festivals! I'm not sure if there are any in our woods..I've yet to explore the woods. We usually go up for working trips..last trip I spent most of the time tromping the property, planting more trees (orchard and fence rows), etc. I'd like to get into the woods before tick and snake season though. Eventually we'll have some trails thru them. The wooded area is the ridge top, so it's a hike, unless you're using a quad (which I'm not fond of yet). Thanks for your comments also!
