So! It's December 2012 and the "kids" are cozy in their garage apt. which will be the game room/music room/guest apt. in the future. The house foundation is done..all by Larry and Darian..and the "dry in" (building of the shell of the house) will be started after Christmas. All is well in the Hollow.

So you will soon be here! You are gonna love Christmas in TENN. next year. Today is perfect, n snow, but drizzly rain and winter-like. Christmas in Germany sounds enchanting to me. I love that you had that experience. Most of my antique ornaments were made in Germany, my creche and most of the antique farm figures. I expect to be meeting you in person next year!
ReplyDeleteJeri, I think I answered this on your Blog. Christmas in Germany was magical. The fact that their traditions and ornaments, etc. are all centuries old helps make them so. Villages and cobblestone streets, some of which are thousands of years old, also helps! It's like taking a time machine sometimes. And other times, everything is very modern. I like the mix. Thanks for keeping up with me..I'm very bad with the blog..but then I'll get a new pile of photos and I have to update and share!
